Dinner Time Stories SA opened in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa on 27 March 2019 and it has been a journey second to none.
Dinner Time Stories SA is open six nights a week and Sunday lunchtime at the Faircity Quatermain Hotel in Morningside. Guests are treated to complimentary bubbly on arrival and the actual journey is a 2.5 hour 4D show. & culinary feast ‘The projection mapping technology uses optical illusion techniques to project Le Petite Chef cooking on your plate and tabletop.’
Le Petit Chef, the smallest chef in the world, welcomes you at the start of a culinary journey in the footsteps of the great explorer, Marco Polo. After guests are seated the journey starts with a French inspired Amuse Bouche. Guests are then transported, together with Le Petit Chef, to flavours from Arabia, India, and China before returning to France to conclude an epic journey of sights, smells and tastes.
Dinner Time Stories SA is available for a limited period in Johannesburg and Le Petite Chef will start touring in South Africa in the near future. His exact travel plans will be revealed in due course. Tickets are available from Computicket and each show can accommodate a maximum of 52 culinary travellers.
Over and above the lunch or dinner experience, different customised Le Petit Chef Event Offerings are available at a venue of your choice for private or corporate groups with no limit on the group size.

A: No, but you can choose to include the wine pairing package. Alternatively, you can order your own drinks during the Dinner Time Stories experience and settle the bill on departure
Q: Can you book the venue exclusively at Quatermain?
A: Yes, currently Monday & Tuesday evenings are reserved for exclusive use bookings for 52 guests per dinner, subject to availability
