Since 2015 I am working in association with Sandown Travel with regards to MICE enquiries and other travel services.

I  was included in the TOP 40 WOMEN IN MICE 2016, as selected by Meetings Magazine (www.theplanner.guru)

To stay abreast of all MICE / Travel news and increase my knowledge of international destinations and premium service providers I attend international travel trade exhibitions when possible e.g.

  • ITB – Berlin
  • Meetings Africa – Johannesburg
  • Travel Indaba – Durban
  • WTM Africa (World Travel Market) – Cape Town
  • IBTM World ( Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings Expo) – Barcelona

I freelance as a:

  • On-site event manager for meetings, conferences and events
  • Travel writer for various publications and my blog on this website
  • Reviewer of venues, hotels, conference facilities
  • Tour leader for leisure and corporate groups to national and international destinations
  • Restaurant reviewer

Being an avid traveller, I have always been interested in all things travel and absorbed travel information like a sponge. I started my professional career in the Human Resource Management arena and only seized an opportunity in 2003 / 4 to become involved in the travel and tourism industry, developing into various capacities.

I travel locally and internationally, constantly visiting venues, writing reviews, attending travel workshops, exhibitions and local and international trade fairs to stay abreast of travel news, emerging trends and fabulous destinations.
